THE POETRY ADDICT

Hi everyone, and welcome to my Blog !!!

I'm Steve, I live by the coast in county Sligo on the island of Ireland. By day I am a child care worker, and by night a writer with insomnia !!!

I'm also a father of six beautiful children and a husband to one gorgeous Irish wife !!!
I enjoy creating and writing poetry of all kinds, but mainly Haiku and poetry with a story.......

I love challenges, sometimes someone will give me a subject to write about and more times than not I will jump at the chance to get creative...."what can I say ? Its my drug of choice".....

So hey if you feel like giving me a challenge please feel free ??

    Well, hello Steve. It has been a long time. I kept checking back on your old blog for the continuation of the book you were writing, but i guess you gave up on that.
    I LOVE the poem you wrote about my "visitor". It is so fitting. Yes, feel free to write poems when you see photos of mine that you like. I would enjoy reading them in my comments section. You do have a talent for writing poetry! I have no idea when you find the time with a wife, six children and a job!
    You live in such a beautiful country, Steve. I hope you will post some photos in the future. I would love to see photos from the legend of old Maeve. The views sound spectacular.

    Hi Audrey :-)

    I gave up with the old Blog, but I completed the book ...... I'm not sure if its good enough for publishing, i'll send it of if I ever find out how to go about it !!! My children and wife enjoyed it and thats enough for me at the moment...

    I'm glad you enjoyed my little poem about your visitor, and yes I will add a few more to your site Thank you..... Ive really got into the poetry in a big way now hence my new blog "the poetry addict" I'm a member of a couple of sites and enjoy the feedback on my work !!

    Anyway enough of all that and back to the writing ......
